The 3rd Century Crisis

The emperors declared themselves gods. No one else had the power to declare himself a god. The people looked at them as gods. The only problem with that is there were a lot of emperor’s 3rd century crisis. So the people would practically get a new God every few years. There were so many emperors that when there was instability in the government, there is instability in the entire empire. In the 3rd century crisis, there were 27 emperors from 211-285.
