When fall comes around, the green chlorophyll disappears, and turns into orange and yellow. The green chlorophyll turns sun into energy, whereas yellow and orange do not. All leaves have small openings called stoma. These stomas bring in carbon dioxide and push out air. At the same time, the leaves are making energy. If all leaves disappeared, the air quality will go downhill. These results are gathered by specialists in the field.
