Ancient India

The two longest rivers that flow thru India are the Indus river and the Ganges river. When the Arians came to India they decided to settle in the Indus valley. A man named Chandragupta turned all of India in to one state and became the ruler of modern day India. Chandragupta’s government was hyper concerned about its people so much so that they had spy’s report to the government. After 11 years of war, the promoted religion in all of India was Buddhism, because the leader of India became Buddhist. The five levels of the Indian caste system are Brahmans, Kshatriya, Vaisya, Shora, and the Harijan.

Japanese culture

Part of the Japanese culture is fish. At the Tsukiji Fish Market, you need to get there at least by 3:45 am. The Tsukiji Fish Market  opens at 5:00 am and the fish sell in seconds. Sushi is sold all over in Japan. One place sells micro sushi with is one hundredth of the size of normal a sushi. Wasabi is grown in Japan and a lot of it, too. Wasabi is a plant and it tastes strong when it’s fresh. There’s wasabi beer, wasabi wine, and wasabi ice cream. Anything you can think of, there is probably a wasabi product.

pick a country to go to

If I were to pick a country to go to, I would go to Japan because I want to visit the biggest city in the world, Tokyo. The place I would go to first is Tokyo. When I get there I would ride the Japanese subway. I would also ride a Japanese bullet train. I would definitely go to the gashapon store. The second place I would go to is the beach. At the beach, I would go swimming and surfing. I would also like a boat tour.

Akhenaten Almost Erased From History

The Pharaoh I am going to talk about today is Akhenaten. As a kid, Akhenaten didn’t think he would rule. When Prince Thutmose passed away, he became the firstborn. When Amenhotep III died, Akhenaten became the Pharaoh of Egypt. He decided to devote his life to Aten, the sun disk. He destroyed temples of Amun (which was the main god) and declared Aten not only the main god, but the only god. He died 17 years after he came to the throne, which is less than half of what his father served. His son, Tutankhamun, declared Amun the main god. Later, Aten temples where destroyed and Akhenaten’s tomb was broken into and Akhenaten was erased from history. The only reason we know about him is because a woman was digging and found 300 tablets about Akhenaten.

My Hobbies

I was supposed to write about my favorite hobby, but I like a lot the same, so I will just put all of my favorite hobbies. I like to play video games on my Xbox such as Forza Horizon 4, Fortnite, and Minecraft. I also like collecting sports memorabilia like baseballs and cards and keeping up with baseball news. Something else I like to do is code on Scratch. If you want to look at my Scratch page, click this link dogmantheoriginal on Scratch (mit.edu). I also like to post on YouTube. In fact, I am working on a new YouTube video – impossible plays – YouTube. This is my essay. I hope you enjoyed it.

When I went to the Philippines I noticed some interesting things. One of the most interesting things was in Central Luzon. Instead of burying people underground, they put the coffins on the side of a mountain. Something else they have are ice cream boats, which you have to swim to get to them and get your ice cream. They also have a Spider Café where you can jump into the beach and have a spider pizza. You can also pet puppies at Spider Café.

My Life

I was born in Fairfax, Virginia and we lived in Woodbridge. When I was born, we traveled a lot. I have been to Maryland, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, California, Nebraska, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, and the Philippines. One of my favorite things to do in Missouri is to see the St. Louis Cardinals play. Something I like to do in Georgia is see the Rome Braves play and get autographs. In the Philippines, I like seeing my grandfather and going to the beach.

Air Brakes. George Westinghouse made the air brake in 1869. Something about it is fail safe so it cant fail. Traffic Light. J.P knight invented the traffic light in 1868. The traffic light it stops traffic deaths. Pipe Wrench. The pipe wrench is better then the Monkey wrench which is flat. Daniel Stillson invented the pipe wrench in 1869

The Railway Children is about three kids whose dad was arrested for selling secrets to Russia. He did not sell secrets to Russia so he was wrongly accused. So they moved to a house called three chimneys and they become poor. Theie mom writes for a living. The three children’s names are Roberta, Peter, and Phyllis. They go out to the railway almost every day and see the trains go by. They also greet their friends, the station master and Perks. They went on adventures like into a train tunnel to save a boy. They also saved a train from crashing in to a ton of rocks. They got recognized but they did have trouble accepting it because they did it to do the right thing.
